PAZO RED


Tierra de Castilla "PAZO" Dominio de Eguren (Tempranillo) 2008, $19

History:
Made from old vines with low production, the grapes are grown at 2,700 feet in altitude in calcareous clay soils. The wine was aged for six months in French and American oak barrels.

Tasting notes:
Pazo Tinto offers a bouquet of cedar, spice box, black cherry, and black currant jam. On the palate ripe black plums are intermixed with vanilla and clay minerals.


PAZO WHITE


La Mancha “PAZO” Volver (Verdejo) 2009, $19

History:
This wine is the first Verdejo to be produced in La Mancha, in the heart of Spain. The sandy and stony vineyards are located on a plateau with an altitude of 1980 feet.

Tasting notes:
Pazo Blanco displays enticing aromas of citrus and pit fruit accented by minerals and spices. It is a vibrant, racy, and refreshing wine with a balanced finish.
