"The most beautiful people in Baltimore come to see and be seen" at this Harbor East "knockout" from Charleston's Tony Foreman, where "inspired Med tapas and entrees are served in a "dramatic" "renovated warehouse" featuring "soaring ceilings", "sumptuous seating" and "stunning" "jewel-toned d├ęcor"; "well executed cocktails" augment the "killer vibe" ...Thursday-Saturday "they roll back the tables after dinner" to allow for dancing. Best Restaurant ...PAZO gives Baltimore something it lacked: a dramatic see-and-be-seen venue for the Prada set. Indeed, we suspect many of PAZO's patrons are too busy enjoying the vast Tuscan-inflected space, the DJ-spun club tunes, and each other's clingy black outfits to notice how good the food is.

"It's an instantaneous and mammoth success, packed night after night with flatteringly lit, happy-to-be-here customers. On weekends, lines form outside just to get into the bar. The tune I hear people whistling on their way out is this: We needed some place like this.
